Beauty sometimes catches us in unexpected moments and in unlikely places. Hollyhock's single blossom, placed and forgotten on a friend's dashboard, struck me with its simple elegance. A shaft of sunlight excentuated its beauty which seemed to me a blend of delicate form and an unexplainable ancient innocence.
