Light not only creates particular moods, but can force us to look at and appreciate familiar objects in a whole new way. Returning from a day long trip across Kachemak Bay to Halibut Cove, my attention was drawn to the silhouettes of harbor boats created by the sun's last red rays. Silhouettes is a vision of the harbor at Homer, Alaska in the silent evening glow, a contrast to the working day hustle that is common here.
