In 1984 Windsong Editions began its publishing operations
in Juneau, Alaska, a small coastal town along the state's southeast panhandle.
Since that time WindSong has published a total of 58 of John's limited
editions, more than half of which have now sold out and trade at much higher
prices on the secondary market. Over the years John
Fehringer has gained a solid reputation for his portrayal of the Alaskan
experience through his art. His Northwest landscapes and wildlife paintings
are distinctive and well known through out the area. A particular following
has developed for his series of aviation paintings, most commonly depicting
seaplanes of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. These unique series of paintings
and prints are highly sought after by pilots, aviation enthusiasts and
a variety of collectors from all backgrounds. We're sure you'll agree that
John Fehringer's work is of the highest quality and will be a welcomed
addition to your collection.
All Windsong's limited editions are printed on 100% acid-free archival
grade paper using the highest quality fade resistant inks available. Each
print is inspected and signed by the artist, then numbered consecutively.
